RIM launch new Curve 8900 in Germany



The new BlackBerry Curve 8900 - previously known as Javelin - has been announced in the German market exclusively on T-Mobile.

With the same high-res screen and new OS as the recent BlackBerry Bold - this handset also features GPS and Wifi but differs from the recent Bold as this model does not feature 3G.

Release in further european markets and networks is expected over the coming months.

Nokia reveal two new e-series handsets


Nokia's E-series of handsets continues with the introduction of the slim and sleek E71 and E66.

Both offerring professional access to email whilst maintaining the Nokia high standard of voice and data communications.


Featuring data speeds of up to HSDPA and with onboard GPS for sat-nav and other location based services.


At launch these devices are listed as compatible with Nokia Mail For Exchange the Microsoft Exchange connectivity service - compatibility with other professional email systems such as Blackberry Connect is expected.

Coming soon from HTC - The HTC P4550 (Kaiser)


Soon to be released by HTC in the UK - the HTC P4550 (Kaiser) is again a full QWERTY keyboard sliding handset along the lines of the previous HTC Tytn. But as you can see from this image it takes the slide (spring-loaded!) on a new slant to improve the typing and viewing experience.

Features also include Quad-Band GSM, 3G and HSDPA, Wifi and built-in GPS with a Windows Mobile 6 operating system and 2.8 megapixel camera.
